Twelfth Night (Epiphany Eve)
Some branches if Christianity mark the coming of the Epiphany. The Epiphany is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Son of God/God the Son as well as a human (though there are different ideas as to which biblical event this relates to). Different branches of Christianity believe it to fall on either the 5th or 6th of January. Depending on which, this would also cause Twelfth Night to align with the 12th Day of Chrismas, which is when the Shakespeare’s play Twelfth Night set.
In modern times in some English speaking countries that it is unlucky to leave Christmas decorations hanging after Twelfth Night.
Daily Trivia: Some species of birds are capable of seing a 4th primary colour (in the ultraviolet spectrum) that is invisible to humans. It allows them to see a totally different fundamental colour and all derivatives generated by mixing it with the other primary colours.
